US says not to lift sanctions from Russia in exchange for grain

WASHINGTON, May 27 (PRIME) -- The U.S. does not consider lifting anti-Russian sanctions in exchange for unblocking the supplies of Ukrainian grain and other produce to the global market, U.S. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Friday.

She also sees minimal consequences for the U.S. and global economy from Russia’s inability to service its external debt obligations.
